Edge Point Contracting, Inc. hereby requests a copy of the following in electronic format and/or whatever format exists:

1. An accounting of all uncashed checks/warrants and returned checks that have been issued by your government agency and have remained outstanding for six (6) months or older as of the date of this letter. Please only include items that can still be claimed by the payee and have not been escheated to the state/general fund.

• Please include the payee name, date, amount and check number.
• If it is less time consuming and more cost effective, please only provide amounts which equal $250.00 or more
• Please include the last known address of the payee. If the last known address is not readily available, please then include a copy of your agency’s most current vendor list.

2. An accounting of any unclaimed funds which have not been escheated to the state/general fund.

• Please include the payee name, date, amount, and last known address.
• Please only provide amounts which equal $250.00 or more.

Edge Point is prepared to pay for all necessary expenses up to $50.00. Please notify our office if the labor and materials exceed this amount.

Per our phone conversation (10/4/19), you are looking for specif vendor addresses. Therefore please submit a new records request, with a list specifying the vendor addresses you are requesting.

Re: Request for Public Records – Notice of Extension City of Garden Grove

Dear Mr. Whetzel:

The City of Garden Grove has received your records request dated September 6, 2019, request #4990. This letter shall serve as notification of the City’s intent to comply with your request for public records, pursuant to the California Public Records Act (the “Act”) (Government Code §6250 et seq.).

The City is in the process of evaluating this request and is compiling records in an effort to make a determination as to whether the request seeks copies of disclosable public records in the possession of the City of Garden Grove. However, notice is hereby given that the time limit to make this initial determination under the code shall be extended by fourteen (14) days to September 30, 2019, pursuant to Government Code §6253, for the following reason:

(a) The extension of time is reasonable and necessary for the proper processing of the request.

As noted above, the City’s written determination as to whether the request seeks copies of disclosable, non-exempt and non-privileged public records in the possession of the agency shall be sent to you on or about September 30, 2019. Pursuant to the Act, thereafter any and all disclosable, non-exempt and non-privileged public records that are deemed responsive to your request will be made promptly available to you.
