I see new construction at 12282 Jerome St., Garden Grove
1. What type of construction is being built at this residence and is it all permitted?
2. This area has a minimum lot size preventing lot splits and also requires only one metered servicer for each public utility service (i.e. water, gas, electric). Will this new construction meet that requirement?
Correspondence
Between the structures, the massive concrete driveways, and the artificial grass, this property has extremely little "open space". Does the city have a minimum "open space" requirement or can an owner simply pave an entire lot?

The property located at 12282 Jerome Street is undergoing construction to add a second unit. The City's records indicate plan check approval and permits were issued for the work being performed. The subject property meets the minimum lot size requirement for a second unit addition and the property owner has signed and recorded a Notice of Agreement where he/she agrees to the requirements outlined in the Second Unit Ordinance, including one utility service meter and one address for the lot.
