Dear Mr. McIntosh,
Information deemed responsive to your request is available for your review in the City Clerk's Office at Garden Grove City Hall. Government Code 6254.21 prohibits the City from posting Council Member home addresses on the Internet without their consent as follows:
"(a) No state or local agency shall post the home address or telephone number of any elected or appointed official on the Internet without first obtaining the written permission of that individual."
Because our system posts our responses to the Internet, we cannot respond to your request in writing through our response system. Additionally, the addresses of elected or appointed officials may in some instances be exempt from disclosure pursuant to Government Code 6255.
