Dear City Clerk:
This is a California Public Records Act (Govt Code §§ 6250-6277) request for documents maintained by the City. I hereby request documentation from the City which identifies the Joint Pool Risk (Claims) Insurance provider for the City. To avoid placing any burden of time and/or cost on the City, I will accept either an email, or letter response simply providing the name of the Insurance Provider in place of related documentation. Under Govt Code § 6253 subdivisions (b) and (c), the City has to determine whether it maintains documents responsive to this request within ten (10) days of receipt and produce such documents forthwith. However, given the simplicity of this request, I expect to receive a response in a much more timely fashion. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
