At our client’s request, please provide the following information for the industrial facility located at 7191 Patterson Drive, Garden Grove (I have attached an easy to use template for your convenience): DISREGARD CERT OF OCCUPANCY SECTION OF ATTACHMENT

• Zoning Compliance/Verification Letter: Please supply a letter (or use the enclosed template and copy onto letterhead) stating in which zoning district the subject property is currently located, whether or not it is considered to be a permitted use, and any compliance information you may be able to provide. Please use municipality letterhead, or if this is not possible for some reason, please enclose a municipality fax coversheet showing that the zoning letter is enclosed.

• Adjacent Property Designations and Uses (if known): Current zoning district in which properties adjacent to the subject property North, South, East & West are located

• Any Variances, Special Permits or Conditions: Please note the existence of these items as they relate to the subject property and supply documentation, if available

• Code Violations: Please note whether or not there are currently any open/outstanding zoning or building code violations that apply to the subject property
• Approved Site Plan and/or Conditions of Approval, if applicable (if the subject property is zoned PD, Planned Development or SP, Specific Plan): Please supply one or both of these documents, particularly if the subject property is located in a Planned Development

Re: Request for Public Records – Notice of Extension
City of Garden Grove

Dear Mr. Norton,

The City of Garden Grove has received your records request dated June 24, 2015, requesting information regarding the property located at 7191 Patterson Drive, Garden Grove, CA. This letter shall serve as notification of the City’s intent to comply with your request for public records, pursuant to the California Public Records Act (the “Act”) (Government Code §6250 et seq.).

The City is in the process of evaluating this request and is compiling records in an effort to make a determination as to whether the request seeks copies of disclosable public records in the possession of the City of Garden Grove. However, notice is hereby given that the time limit to make this initial determination under the code shall be extended by fourteen (14) days to July 20, 2015, pursuant to Government Code §6253, for the following reason:

(a) The extension of time is reasonable and necessary for the proper processing of the request.

As noted above, the City’s written determination as to whether the request seeks copies of disclosable, non-exempt and non-privileged public records in the possession of the agency shall be sent to you on or about July 20, 2015. Pursuant to the Act, thereafter any and all disclosable, non-exempt and non-privileged public records that are deemed responsive to your request will be made promptly available to you.
