zSwim Lessons- Woodbury- Summer 2- (3P) Sea Turtle
For children 3-5 years of age who have passed the Tadpole level (PL2). Child can float on both front and back and roll between floats. Child can start from the wall and swim three yards of front crawl, and do an independent back glide. IF YOUR DESIRED CLASS IS FULL PLEASE CALL 714-741-5200 TO GO ON THE WAITLIST. zSwim Lessons- Woodbury- Summer 2- (L1) Guppy
This class is for new swimmers ages 6-15. Guppy class introduces swimming and water safety to children with little or no previous swimming experience. This level helps children build confidence, swim on front and back short distances by themselves, and develop safety skills in and around the water. zSwim Lessons- Woodbury- Summer 2- (L3) Dolphin
For children 6-15 who have PASSED the Seal level. Children in Dolphin are able to swim 10 yards (30ft) completely unassisted in front and backstroke, jump into deep water, and tread water for short periods. New skills include introduction and development of elementary backstroke and breaststroke, dolphin, and sidestroke kicks. Dolphins also work on refining side breathing. IF YOUR DESIRED CLASS IS FULL PLEASE CALL 714-741-5200 TO GO ON THE WAITLIST. zSwim Lessons- Woodbury- Summer 2- (L4) Barracuda
For children 7-15 who have PASSED the Dolphin level. Barracudas are able to swim 15 yards (45ft) completely unassisted in freestyle and backstroke, and 5 yards of breaststroke and dolphin kick. Barracudas can also tread independently. New skills include learning breaststroke and butterfly strokes, and learning flip turns and open turns. Barracudas also focus on increasing swim stamina . Parents and children participate in guided practice sessions with the emphasis on fun, comfort and swimming readiness. This course does not teach children to be accomplished swimmers nor to survive in the water. One adult 18 years of age or older must accompany the child in the water.
