Beginning Dog Obedience Training

How have you and your canine companion been getting along lately? If you need help in establishing good conduct and curbing bad habits such as destructive chewing, hole digging, or over-exuberance; enroll Fido now! This seven-week session is open to all breeds of dogs, ages six months or older (larger breeds accepted at four months). All A.K.C. Novice obedience exercises will be covered (heel, automatic sit, stay, come, down, stand), as well as hand signals, off-leash techniques, and long-distance work. The first meeting will be an orientation, held WITHOUT dogs. Please bring current vaccination records and a $10 materials fee which covers the training manual to the first meeting.
Notes: The first meeting will be an orientation, held WITHOUT DOGS at the Senior Center, 11300 Stanford (between 9th & Euclid). Equipment for training will be discussed at orientation and will be available for purchase at reasonable prices, if needed. Please bring vaccination records and a $5 insurance fee to the first meeting.
