The City has conducted a reasonable search for records responsive to your request for “crime reports and criminal activity in the vicinity of Haster/Lampson” for the period of September 2015 to the present. Many records which are responsive to your request constitute law enforcement investigatory records which are exempt from disclosure under the Public Records Act. (See, Gov. Code 6254(f)) Those records will not be produced. Further, your request is uncertain to the extent that it asks for records related to activity “in the vicinity” of specified cross streets. That said, and in an effort to provide as many non-exempt, non-privileged records as possible, the City will produce a calls for service history for the neighborhood within which the identified cross streets is identified. Please note that specific address information has been redacted with respect to certain calls for service to protect the identities of juveniles, victims of domestic violence and sexually motivated crimes, and persons with mental health disorders. (See, Gov. Code 6254(k) and 6255)

Thank you,
