Pursuant to Government Code § 6253, please provide me with the following records in your possession:
All documents (including documents that are stored or recorded electronically or digitally) with information relating to:
l. Your policies and procedures in effect for the period between May 1, 2015 and May 1, 2019 for inspecting your sidewalks for dangerous conditions, where such conditions include sidewalk slabs broken or protruding so as to constitute a potential tripping hazard;
2. All records of your sidewalk inspections for dangerous conditions, where such cop.ditions include sidewalk slabs broken or protruding so as to constitute a potential tripping hazard, for all such inspections conducted at or near 8971 GARDEN GROVE BLVD., Garden Grove, CA 92844 for the period between May 1, 2015 and May 1, 2019;
3. All records of repair work done on sidewalks 8971 GARDEN GROVE BLVD., Garden Grove, CA 92844 for the period between May
1, 2015 and May 1, 2019;
4. All records of complaints from citizens regarding broken or protruding sidewalk slabs at or near 8971 GARDEN GROVE BLVD., Garden Grove, CA 92844 for the period between May 1, 2015 and May
1, 2019;
5. All records of sidewalk repair work ordered or otherwise pending but, as of May 1, 2015, not yet completed at or near 8971 GARDEN GROVE BLVD., Garden Grove, CA 92844;
6. All Government Code §910 claims for damages submitted to you by those who claimed to have suffered personal injuries as a result of falls or other encounters with broken or protruding sidewalk slabs at or near 8971 GARDEN GROVE BLVD., Garden Grove, CA 92844 for the period between May
1, 2015 and May 1, 2019.

Re: Request for Public Records – Notice of Extension City of Garden Grove
The City of Garden Grove has received your records request dated September 24, 2019, request #5050. This letter shall serve as notification of the City’s intent to comply with your request for public records, pursuant to the California Public Records Act (the “Act”) (Government Code §6250 et seq.).
The City is in the process of evaluating this request and is compiling records in an effort to make a determination as to whether the request seeks copies of disclosable public records in the possession of the City of Garden Grove. However, notice is hereby given that the time limit to make this initial determination under the code shall be extended by fourteen (14) days to October 18, 2019, pursuant to Government Code §6253, for the following reason:
(a) The extension of time is reasonable and necessary for the proper processing of the request.
As noted above, the City’s written determination as to whether the request seeks copies of disclosable, non-exempt and non-privileged public records in the possession of the agency shall be sent to you on or about October 18, 2019. Pursuant to the Act, thereafter any and all disclosable, non-exempt and non-privileged public records that are deemed responsive to your request will be made promptly available to you.
