Per the Garden Grove Police Department, GGPD does not have a contract with a company with a FFL for destruction of weapons. GGPD does not sell weapons that were booked in as evidence. If a weapon is not claimed or returned to an owner after the case is adjudicated, it is destroyed by our Property and Evidence staff at a local metal recycling company that melts the weapons down.
