Support Local Business Economy through City’s Shop Local Program
With the state’s re-opening of the economy, the City’s Buy in Garden Grove (BiGG) shop local program helps re-build the local business community by providing shopper benefits to Garden Grove establishments.
“While we celebrate the re-opening of our economy, we need to be mindful of the struggles our small businesses continue to face,” said Garden Grove Mayor Steve Jones. “The City’s goal to maintain a strong business climate relies on the success of our local businesses.”
BiGG provides benefits to shoppers through incentives, such as discounts, giveaways, and special deals. Participating BiGG businesses receive increased visibility through the City’s website, social platforms, and more. Businesses may sign up for free at ggcity.org/bigg.
In addition, BiGG’s Vehicle Rebate Program offers a $500 rebate to any resident or Garden Grove business owner who purchases a new car or truck from one of the six franchised local auto dealers. Participating auto dealers are Volkswagen Garden Grove, Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove, Russell Westbrook Hyundai of Garden Grove, Toyota Place, Garden Grove Nissan, and Garden Grove Kia.
For over 10 years, BiGG has helped keep needed tax dollars in Garden Grove for essential quality-of-life services, such as public safety, roads, parks, and infrastructure.
