The City’s H. Louis Lake Senior Center, in partnership with Orange County Strategic Plan for Aging, invites local seniors to attend Turning Silver into Gold, an event designed to help the Orange County senior population discover new resources, tools and services tailored for older adults. The event will be held on Friday, September 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the H. Louis Lake Senior Center, located at 11300 Stanford Avenue. Local seniors unable to attend in-person are invited to join virtually via Zoom. There is no cost to attend in-person or virtually.
Keynote speaker Maddy Dychtwald, an internationally celebrated author and aging expert, joins a panel of educators, program specialists and motivators to discuss new perspectives on health, community, technology, and dating.
In addition, the H. Louis Lake Senior Center will provide information on services and activities currently available at the facility.
