The City of Garden Grove Community Services Department is now offering virtual recreation classes, programs, and workshops for residents to stay active, engaged, and healthy while staying safe at home during the coronavirus pandemic. Costs for virtual classes vary. To register, go to ggcity.org/virtual-classes.
“While our recreation facilities are closed, and in-person classes and programs are postponed, we are committed to serving the community and providing residents with alternative ways to stay healthy, mentally and physically,” said Community Services Director John Montanchez.
Virtual fitness and instructional classes for the month of May, June, and July range from yoga, video game design, LEGO engineering, dance, art, and more.
Additional classes, programs, and workshops will be added throughout the summer. The public is encouraged to follow the Community Services Department on Facebook and Instagram, @GardenGroveParksAndRec, for updates.
