Community Encouraged to Attend City’s First Coalition to End Homelessness Meeting

June 1, 2021

The City of Garden Grove is hosting its first Garden Grove Coalition to End Homelessness (GGCEH) meeting on Thursday, June 10, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., via Zoom or by phone, to review the City’s Draft Comprehensive Strategic Plan to Address Homelessness (CSPAH), take comments and questions, and share ideas on how to end homelessness in Garden Grove. The community is encouraged to join GGCEH and register for the virtual meeting by visiting ggcity.org/endhomelessness.

GGCEH is a comprehensive approach to help stabilize, navigate, support, and assist families and individuals experiencing homelessness or at-risk of becoming homeless. GGCEH will be comprised of City representatives, residents, religious leaders, nonprofits, community leaders, and businesses.

The City also created a Draft CSPAH to plan for the short- and long-term impacts of the coronavirus pandemic and explore different programs and solutions for homelessness.
