City to Resume Water Shut-Offs for Non-Payments

Effective immediately, the City of Garden Grove will extend the suspension of water shut-offs for non-payments and late fee charges until further notice.

As of Wednesday, July 1, 2020, the City of Garden Grove will begin issuing normal late fees on water payments. Payments for delinquent accounts before June 30, 2020 will be accepted without penalty if paid by July 15, 2020. Starting August 2020, the City will resume water shut-offs for non-payments.
The suspension of limitations on the hours of operation of, and deliveries to, businesses and establishments engaged in essential activities will expire on July 30, 2020.
On March 17, 2020, the City of Garden Grove proclaimed a local emergency due to COVID-19, undertaking various relief actions that included the suspension of water shut-offs for non-payment until further notice.
Water bill payments can be made in-person at Garden Grove City Hall, located at 11222 Acacia Parkway; online at ggcity.org/water; over the phone at (888) 867-2992; mailed to Garden Grove City Hall; or non-cash payments may be placed in the drop-off box located in front of Garden Grove City Hall.
