April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month.

As part of National Distracted Driving Awareness Month in April, the
Garden Grove Police Department cited 112 distracted drivers on April 6, and 91 distracted drivers on April 13. Both days were designated as statewide enforcement dates where law enforcement agencies deployed extra police officers to look for distracted drivers.

The Garden Grove Police Department’s Accident Reduction Team, along with other law enforcement agencies and the California Office of Traffic Safety are continuing their efforts to enforce, educate, and discourage drivers from driving distracted.
