  • New Fire Station No. 6 Goes into Service

    After much anticipation, Garden Grove fire fighters will be responding out of their new Fire Station No. 6, on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. The current and aging Fire Station No. 6, located at the corner of Chapman Avenue and Debbie Lane, will go out of service at the same time.

  • City Now Accepting Applications for City Commissions

    The City of Garden Grove is now accepting applications for candidates to serve as non-compensated commissioners. Applicants must be Garden Grove residents and registered voters, be able to serve a two-year term of office, and be available to attend regularly scheduled meetings.

  • City Now Offering First-Time Home Buyer Programs

    The City is now offering First-Time Home Buyer Programs for qualifying low-income families. The CalHome loan is a 30-year deferred payment loan requiring no monthly payments, not exceeding $60,000, which accrues 3-percent simple annual interest for the life of the loan.
