Request CR-17757

In response to request CR-17757, code enforcement #187264 please advise if there are any updates. My tenants and others in the neighborhood are complaining because of lack of street parking . The operator of the illegal auto repair/sales business parks his vans -10 to 20 on the streets at Bayport, Newport and Allard, makes minor repairs on the street and then sells the vehicles. I have seen tow trucks come frequently unloading vehicles. The operator of this business appears to be a man 55-65, 5'7", slightly overweight, black hair, perhaps Hispanic, walks with slight limp and unfriendly looking. He is in the area throughout the day and evening hours. I have not confronted him due to possibility of a violent interaction. I have talked to people in the neighborhood who are threatening vandalism and physical confrontation. I trust it will not come to this and hope for your assistance.
