Requester has been informed:We are aware and have communicated with the owner of the business. They do have a business license however it does require additional items to allow them to paint City-owned curbs. As this is City property the police will not file a vandalism report to the unwanted painting of the curb. Please be further advised that you are under no obligation to compensate them and can report them to the Better Business Bureau if needed. We are working in trying to resolve this as we get similar local nonprofit community groups like the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and other institutions that do curb painting as fundraisers.
If the curb was damaged please contact our Public Works Department and if the numbers were transcribed or erroneous please let us know.
