That's your response? Really? Ok. It's in writing. I'm pretty sure Homeland Security is concerned with lawn care right now. This is being escalated.

The lawn in question contains no overgrown vegetation. But keep that energy.

Thank you for your concern, please note some overgrown lawns can cause fire hazards, mosquito environments, coyote habitats, and the fostering of vermin. Officers are exercising some level of reasonableness under the current circumstances.

As you may be aware per recently updated Department of Homeland Security guidelines, local jurisdictions are responding to public safety and health and safety concerns. Overgrown vegetation is a violation of local and state regulations and a nationally recognized nuisance.

Mowing a lawn does not usually include a social gathering of more than then (10) persons. If you need additional time to address this violation, please contact the Code Enforcement Officer that may have received a concern regarding the property in question. Please note that the Code Enforcement Unit is only responding to complaints made by concerned citizens and are not conducting interior inspections.
