The community is invited to attend the Arbor Day Tree Planting Ceremony on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., at West Haven Park, located at 12252 West Street. The free event will feature the planting of a Coast Live Oak tree, themed giveaways, activities, and treats.

Event activities include leaf cutouts for children to decorate and glue to a giant tree display, planting of wildflower seed bombs into paper pots with soil, and more. A limited amount of free compost will also be available.
