City Invites Community to Events and Programs Starting in Early 2024
The City of Garden Grove announces the following events and programs starting in early 2024.

Community Clean Up Days – The City is hosting six community cleanup days in an effort to help residents properly dispose of bulky items for free. The first event takes place on Saturday, January 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Pacifica High School, located at 6851 Lampson Avenue. For more information, visit ggcity.org/cleanup-days.

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) – The City’s CERT is offering a free 20-hour workshop to train individuals to prepare for and recover from disasters, as well as learn various life-saving skills. The deadline to register is Thursday, February 1. For class dates, location, age requirement, and to register, visit ggcity.org/cert.

Art in the Park – Saturday, March 9, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Village Green Park, 12732 Main Street. The family-friendly event will feature activities as well as live performances and art installations and exhibits from Garden Grove Unified School District students. Eggscavation – Saturday, March 30, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Atlantis Play Center, 13630 Atlantis Way in Garden Grove Park. Ticket sales begin on Monday, March 11. For more information, visit ggcity.org/eggscavation.

Garden Grove Gems – Garden Grove homeowners are invited to spruce up their home’s front yards for the City’s home beautification program. Residents can nominate their homes online from Monday, April 1 to Wednesday, April 24. Winning homes will receive citywide recognition. For more information, visit ggcity.org/gems.

Garden Grove College Graduates' Reception – The City is recognizing Garden Grove college graduates for their outstanding accomplishments in higher education. Garden Grove residents who will receive an undergraduate or post-graduate academic degree from any college or university in 2024 are encouraged to submit their information to attend a free reception hosted by the Garden Grove City Council.
