Update on Lampson Ave Construction, from Dale St to Haster St

Due to inclement weather, the Lampson Avenue construction project, from Dale Street to Haster Street, has been postponed to January 2024. Prior to the start of construction, “No Parking” signs will be re-posted with the updated times. We ask for your cooperation in complying with the no parking schedule.

December 14, 2023 - The Bicycle Corridor Improvement Project (BCIP) is in its final stages, however, there are unanticipated delays due to cars parked in "No Parking" work areas.

During the scheduled night work on Lampson Ave, "No Parking" signs were posted but many vehicles were left parked on the street. This prevented the contractor from completing the work and resulted in gaps in the bicycle lane.

“No Parking” signs will be re-posted with the upcoming construction times. We ask for your cooperation in complying with the no parking schedule, so that construction on Lampson Ave can be completed as soon as possible.

Please note: any vehicles that are parked during the construction hours are subject to removal and will be towed. The contractor will be striping the bike lanes on one side of Lampson Ave at a time with the opposite side available for parking during the work hours.
