Today, the City of Garden Grove and WeeCare, the nation’s largest childcare network, launch the new BOOST (Business Operations and Optimization Support Tool) program to provide income-eligible home childcare providers with free business support and technical tools for one year. Providers can access an application portal from the City’s website at ggcity.org/boost.

“The City of Garden Grove is excited to embark on this new partnership with WeeCare to support home childcare businesses with important services, to strengthen their ability to provide higher quality of care to our children, and more affordable services to families,” said Garden Grove Mayor Steve Jones.

Through the BOOST program, childcare providers obtain free access to WeeCare's technical tools, family referrals, business coaching, and 1-on-1 business assistance. The BOOST program waives all fees for WeeCare’s childcare management app, which allows providers to digitize their entire operation and run their business more efficiently from their mobile devices. From automating administrative tasks, to streamlining financial management, the app also offers enhanced communication tools such as photo and video sharing features.

The City has allocated $102,000 in Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding for the BOOST program, with WeeCare providing matching funds in the same amount.
