Art in the Park

Event activities will include the Art Car, an opportunity to paint on a classic car transformed into a blank art canvas; Recess Revolution, an unstructured free-play area; LEGO® Creation Station; ceramics demos and ukelele lessons led by Garden Grove Unified School District teachers and students from Rancho Alamitos High School and La Quinta High School; and Paint and Sip, an outdoor painting experience with non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages provided.

The Paint and Sip activity is $15 per individual and will be offered twice during the event. Times are 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Registration is limited to 50 participants per session. To sign up, go to ggcity.org/artinthepark or call (714) 741-5200.

Art in the Park will also feature live performances from GGUSD students, as well as temporary art installations, including a “RE:IMAGINE” banner and oversized easels, displaying GGUSD student artwork.
