The Garden Grove Housing Authority (GGHA) annually receives approximately 2,300 Housing Choice Vouchers to provide rental assistance to households earning less than 50% of the Orange County Area Median Income (AMI). In November 2020 and May 2021, the City was awarded 75 Mainstream Vouchers and 117 Emergency Housing Vouchers (respectively) to house literally homeless and at-risk households. Both voucher programs provide rental assistance and wrap-around services to participating households.
